love the idea of mr. and mrs. smith landoscar and this fic executed it perfectly. i genuinely was so up and down while reading this, like my heart was dropping and then warming multiple times. there was just so much chemistry between them even when they were fighting and i thought they genuinely both hated each other.
The recording that George shows him is scrubbed back and forth, and Lando narrows his eyes at the familiar stature and posture of his target. A cannon, darling, really?
“Lando, your husband called. He said he came back from his trip early and wants to know about dinner,” Alex tells him from his desk.
Lando pauses the recording. “You can tell him…” he trails off and glances up, raising an eyebrow, “that dinner’s at seven.”
lando’s just so wife, like i absolutely love how fucking badass he is in this. oscar still proving how whipped he is even if lando’s trying to kill him, i bet he would give him a big ass smile and heart eyes when lando would try to stab him.
