I went through the full range of emotions reading this.
I screamed in joy when Charles appeared, I booed at Zak. I teared up at basically all the Maxiel stuff, and I think my heart actually tried to leap out of my throat when Daniel got stabbed. The last line. The bottle of nail polish.
What a truly fantastic piece of literature. You should be so proud. I sincerely hope you write more of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
