Summary
Hitoshi doesn’t know what he was expecting from hero school. Training, quirk practice, a cause to fight for to fill the Konoha-shaped hole inside him. But friends? Definitely not. His plan to remain a loner goes up in flames when Todoroki Shouto sets his desk on fire. Things only get weirder from there. What is up with this kid and his completely inaccurate assumptions? And for the last time, Todoroki, he doesn’t read manga and he’s not a cosplayer!
Or, an SI’s life as Todoroki Shouto in a BNHA isekai is… not great, but survivable. Fleeing to a deserted beach in Hawaii takes time, after all, so at least up until then everything is predictable. That is, until one Shinsou Hitoshi shows up in Class 1-A with silver hair and a Sharingan.

This wasn’t supposed to happen!” Todoroki continues, voice getting progressively louder. “What if other stuff happens? What if my brother shows up tomorrow and shanks me in my sleep, huh? What then?”Hitoshi stares at him. “Is that a current concern of yours?”
“Immensely. And besides– the sports fest is for sports! Tournament arcs, not– not sudden invasions! But instead we get a sudden villain attack completely out of the blue– wait a second.” He whirls around, stomping back up towards Hitoshi. “Is this a fusion?”
“Sorry?”
“What was that then, the UA Crush? Are you secretly mentoring Midoriya, or something? Are you a- a hidden HPSC assassin?”
“No, to all of those things,” Hitoshi answers flatly, eyeing the wide-eyed boy. “Todoroki, you need to take a breath–”
“Then what is going on?” Todoroki cries out desperately. His fingers clutch compulsively at his hair, before abruptly releasing it and sinking into the ground to splay out as a wide-limbed starfish. “You know what? I give up. I’m done.”
Hitoshi peers down at starfish-Todoroki, who simply stares aimlessly into the sky. “What do you mean, you give up?”
“I don’t even care anymore,” Todoroki says. “Maybe I’m not even in BNHA. Maybe we’re all trapped in the moon eyeball thing. And I’m living out my own personal hell as a sad emo boy who’s the most annoying person alive to the weird, fused hybrid of my two favourite characters.”
Hitoshi blinks. And just when he thought it couldn’t get any weirder.
