One week earlier
Alastor and Lucifer had been dating for about a month now, they had not told anyone about there relationship in the hotel except for Charlie as she was Lucifer's daughter and deserved to know.
They were all sitting in the communal area, Alastor was in his seat reading a book Lucifer had got him. They were all having a conversation when the rings of hell come up as a topic.
“So you’re telling me you’ve never been out of the pride ring?” Charlie said her mouth wide open looking at Vaggie.
“No? Sinner’s can’t leave the pride ring” Vaggie shrugged even if she was technically an exterminator in her past she counted as a sinner now.
“Yeah, I really wanted to go see lust when I got here but we can’t leave there’s like I weird shield thing” Angel said drinking some fruity cocktail husk had just given him.
“Why?” The question was targeted to Lucifer who was sat next to her on the long sofa. It was then Alastor looked from his book at the man to his left.
“Yeah that kinda had two reasons” Lucifer scratched the back of his neck “At first it was to make heaven not go for the imp’s and other hell born’s. If sinner’s couldn’t go to other rings there was no reason for them to either” Lucifer shrugged crossing one leg over the other.
“Then there was the fact sinner’s are more powerful then the Imp’s and would use this to kill them, the sinner’s would come back to pride if they died but Imp’s don’t come back”
That was fair Lucifer did have to look after the safety of all the creatures of hell, the Sin’s could only do so much. They all had there own things to deal with, if the newspaper was correct Fizzaroli had quit working for Mammon. From what Lucifer had told him Mammon was a dick so Alastor was quite happy to hear that.
“Hey Vagina” Angel said getting a death glare in response “if ya could go ta any ring of hell what would it be” Vaggie pondered the question for a moment.
“Wrath, I heard it has some kind of festival thing that bird man goes to. Sounds pretty fun” Charlie’s face lit up more than usual “Your talking about Stolas, he’s a really sweet guy had a horrible wife though” Vaggie smiled at her girlfriend’s excitement.
Husk walked from behind the bar and leaned on the back of the chair Angel was sitting in.
“I’d probably go to Gluttony heard that Beelzebub has something called Beelzejuice I want to try” Angel rolled his eyes and took the alcohol Husk had in his hands to poor into his own now empty glass before returning it. Husk didn’t blink an eye at this action.
“The sloth ring has lots of hospital’s, I wanna see all the medical experiment” Niffty said before skittering off with a large needle to stab a bug that came out the wall.
“Glad non of you like the greed ring” Lucifer huffed crossing his arms. Angel and Vaggie looked at Charlie questioningly.
“Oh dad doesn’t like Mammon after he basically stole his LuLu land idea and built LooLoo land” Charlie laughed remembering how her dad would complain about it to her mother when she was younger.
“Ain’t that the place that burnt down” Husk asked now looking to Lucifer who had a wide smile on his face.
“Yep some Imp burnt it down if I ever find out who I’ll personally give them whatever as a thank you” Alastor rolled his eyes, he was just staring the relationship with Lucifer had found out the park had burnt to the ground. Of course this didn’t stop his smile becoming more genuine at the memory but he would never admit it.
“What about you Alastor what ring would you like to go to” Lucifer seemed to pay much more attention to the conversation now although Alastor was his boyfriend so it was just natural.
“Hmm well my dear I’ve never considered it as I know it’s not possible” he paused thinking about all he knew of the other layers of hell and which he would like the most “It depends on what I will be doing there, the lust ring would work well for a date, envy for a holiday, gluttony for a party, wrath for fighting and sloth is really just medicine I wouldn’t even consider going to greed it’s much to dirty”
“Wow so ya would actually consider going to Lust?” Angel said in that same way he would say his sex related jokes.
“I’m merely saying that Lust focuses on romance Angel” Alastor sighed crossing his arms. Alastor was never one for sex he was even labeled as having a sexual dysfunction when he was alive although he learn that was wrong and he was not ill after all.
"Oh that reminds me of Asmodeus, how is his relationship with Fizzarolli man going" Charlie said poking her dad in the side to gain his attention.
"Oh yeah they've public announced it i'm sure it was when Fizzarolli quit working for Mammon" Lucifer smiled "Glad there comfortable with there love being publicly known now"
The conversation continued like this for a while changing topic's every so often. Alastor went back to reading his book.
Present time
Lucifer had told Alastor to meet him near the angelic gaits, Lucifer had specifically asked him to wear something fancy and comfortable so he chose one of his more admirable suit's and heads out to go see what Lucifer wanted him for.
The walk was uneventful other then the few cannibals who said hello to him on the way.
One he arrived he saw Lucifer there biting at his finger making small drops of gold bubble up from the skin. Alastor walked up to the man and picked the hand he had been nibbling the thumb of.
"My dearest, you know that's a bad habit" Alastor smiled wiping the gold drops off blood of his now healing thumb with his own one.
"Yeah yeah i know" Lucifer huffed pulling his hand away from Alastor who had decided to lick the golden blood off his thumb. "Lets get going hold my hand" Alastor gave his hand to Lucifer confused before being pulled to the gate of the rings.
"Dearest what are you doing-" Alastor was cut of when he was pulled threw the gate and felt like he was falling as a dizzying pace. The dark void behind him fizzled and burnt slightly before fading into the bright light of- where was he?
"Hey you look like a deer in headlights you good" Lucifer said reaching up to grab his shoulder and shake it. Alastor blinked before looked down at his boyfriend.
"Yeah i'm good, where are we exactly" Alastor's smile tensed at the new environment it was golden he saw a TV looking screen hanging from the ceiling with the labels of each ring on the left in there natural order and with times all labeled on the right. When he looked around closer he saw when he believed to be Imps although he had never seen them before so he couldn't be sure.
"Oh right this is a elevator station and as you haven't been out of the pride ring i thought you may want to have a look at the other rings before we go on are lovey date in Lust" He made a gesture to the large gold looking door that some of the Imps were going into.
"How did- what-" Alastor looked around in complete confusion, Lucifer laughed as he looked at his deer's face.
"You do remember i'm the king of hell who made the 'no sinners can leave pride' thing up right i and charlie are able to take people threw the gate whenever we want" Lucifer looked back at the elevator "I think will take the Sins elevator, it has windows and has much less people" Lucifer pointed at an elevator that lay absent and somehow looked much more posh then the other golden one.
"Ah of course let us go" Alastor walked with Lucifer to the elevator they did get a few odd looks but overall they didn't attract to much attention.
"Envy and sloth are under Lust so if you want to see them we will go past Lust" Lucifer said pressing the button under pride labeled Wrath.
The door opened to the wrath ring, it looked like a desert and seemed to have many Imp farmers. The two of them walked around for a while and even met a family there the mother introduced herself as Lin and her husband Joe, they told the two of them a bit about the ring and showed them there animal farm letting them watch Sallie May there daughter deal with some kind of animal they owned.
The next ring they went to was gluttony apparently Beelzebub was holding another one of her famous party's, they didn't stay for long as there were to many hell-hounds for Alastor's comfort so they left after getting a rather large barrel of Beelzejuice as a gift for Husk.
The next ring was greed but they both decided on not going there as neither of them liked Mammon or his ring very much. They didn't go to Lust just yet but went pasted Envy in favor of Sloth where Alastor got Niffty some medical item's in a way that would be less then legal if he was not with the ruler of hell.
The items from there trips to the other Rings were stored away in a void of Alastor's creation and the two made there way up to the Lust ring.
"Now i know how much you hate sex so i can use my portals when we get to the Lust ring to go straight to Ozzie's there having a romance night tonight instead of the full on sex stuff they normally do" Lucifer was happy to see Alastor with a genuine smile on his face.
"And you have nothing to do with that?" Alastor asked getting an obvious response without even having to hear a word.
"Well its not like they weren't thinking about it anyway, i just gave them motivation" Lucifer said waving his hand up and down dismissively.
In the end they did use portals to get to Ozzie's as only a few seconds of being out the elevator they had to walk past a shop of full of less then innocent things being used in ways that made Alastor's skin crawl a bit to much for comfort. Lucifer was thankful that they used portals in the end as he could see something that probably would have made Alastor empty the contents of his stomach.
There was a line of people at the entrance waiting to get in but Lucifer dragged Alastor without even a glance, the bouncer at the door just stared at them in shock as they walked past not even saying a word about them cutting in line. Must have something to do with the king of hell bullshit.
Alastor sat down at the table with Lucifer looked around at the decorations and stage. The waiters, who probably were not used to working in more then the basic's, were in cloths covered in hearts. Even the stripper pole was decorated in heart lights. It felt quite romantic.
"What do you feel like" Lucifer said handing Alastor a menu, it was there normal menu and had a lot of dishes named after sexual pose's which was fair.
"I- is there venison- ah yes i-" Alastor turned red and covered his face with his hand sighing, he rubbed his temples before continuing "I will be having that one" He showed Lucifer the menu pointing at a venison dish with the name Daddy's deer. Lucifer busted into laughter.
"Ill order it you wont have to say it" Alastor put the menu down the blush now fading from his face.
"I should have expected they would label there food this way" Alastor said looked around again.
"Oh its not even the worst one on there, look at this s-"
"Do not" Lucifer watched as his boyfriends eyes turned to radio dials and his antlers grew slightly before returning to his normal look.
"Cute"
The waiter came over a small while later with there free bread and water, Lucifer ordered them there drinks and food which arrived quickly as well. The service was quite amazing and the music was a bit new for Alastor's liking but it was a public space who was he to complain. They left after paying for the food and Lucifer gave a letter to the waiter saying to give it to Ozzie when he next was here.
