“Adrien Agreste. This is the Snake of the Miraculous, and Intuition the grants of power. You will return it to the greater good, and use me later. Do you accept it?”
Ignoring the fact that every single thing about that didn’t make any sense, he took it anyway. He always wanted to be a hero, it is just awkward because he had already become one a long time ago.
“It would be my pleasure, Ladybug.”
She squeaked at that. “Pleasure?”
He laughed at that. Ladybug is cute when she is flustered.
“You sound just like my very good friend Marinette,” he chuckled as he transforms and activates Second Chance, “You probably know her. You probably have even given her a Miraculous. She squeaks just like you just did, so I’m thinking the Mouse?”
He couldn’t quite read the face she was making (even though it was painfully obvious what she was thinking. She was thinking about their future wedding, duh).
“Yeah, my very good, purely platonic, friend Marinette. I might have a superhero kink. Anyway, maybe we should go try to fight the Akuma, even though I am just going to use my ability and pretend to be really traumatized so you never try to give me another Miraculous again. Does that sound good?”
Ladybug looked a bit lost and was definitely drooling. “Yeah, that plans like a great sound! You are really smart! I knew fit would be a good you! Do you ever think about having kids one day?”
Ladybug truly is an enigma. It is starting to make sense as to why she has Chat handle the press.
“Yeah, I guess. That and a hamster. I wonder if Marinette, who is just a good friend, wants a hamster as well? She seems like the type of person that would make a great mother. Yeah, that just makes sense. I’m going to reset now so I can be wearing a Charm Bracelet made by my very good friend Marinette, who is just a big fan of fashion, instead of the Miraculous.”
“Fashion,” Ladybug mumbled dreamily.
“Second Chance!”
Ladybug once again stood in front of him, looking a lot more composed than a second ago.
“I’m sorry Ladybug, I’ve tried like 25,913 times, not that I was counting or anything, and nothing I did worked. Here’s the Miraculous, I’m going to go find my friend, my bestie Marinette.”
Ladybug watched as he took off the Snake wristband and took out the Lucky Charm bracelet and ran off.
