“So — Kagami — my wonderful friend — what do you want to do next?”
“Finish our smoothies.”
“I mean after that.”
“Oh.” Kagami takes another slurp, looks thoughtful for a moment. “Perhaps we could have another smoothie.” Her eyes drop to Marinette’s hands on the table; Marinette twists her fingers a little from the scrutiny. The plastic cup crackles.
“We can have as many smoothies as you want, Kagami.” Marinette twirls her foot against the floor, a little unsure if she truly means it. She’s fine with just one smoothie herself, and can stomach a second for Kagami’s sake, but if more are forthcoming after that she’ll definitely end up puking into a bin.
She will still do that, for Kagami. But she won’t enjoy it.

After hearing that Kagami and Adrien have broken up, Marinette rushes out the door to cheer up her friend. Things go increasingly off the rails.
