Rhaenyra is alone. And a dragon alone in the world is a terrible thing.
Overwhelmed by loneliness, she seeks to end her life, but she refuses to leave the world in any other way than by the hands of another dragon. However, seeing as there is no dragon in the Red Keep that would ever do her harm, let alone end her life, she is forced to seek out the one option she has left should she still wish to leave the world by dragon: The Cannibal.
The Cannibal, a wild dragon known to eat dragon riders, dragon eggs, and other dragons alike. The Cannibal, one of the oldest and most dangerous dragons to ever exist.
The Cannibal who, instead of preying on the bones of the Princess that approached him, is claimed for the very first time in history. And together, he and his new rider eat the world raw.
