Work Text:

(y/n) is a moth Monster currently residing in a carved out hole in the wall that separates the Ruins from the snowy forest of Snowdin. The gnawing pit of hunger roots itself deep in her stomach, forcing her to leave the fetal position she’d been holding in her bed for a week now. No matter how hard she tried her body refused to let her rot in silence. It demanded she at least try to survive. Perseverance, her main trait, can quickly turn to petty stubbornness. Begrudgingly she got up to get dressed.

On her way to her dresser she stopped in front of her shattered full body mirror. She wasn’t vain before, she just took a special pride in her appearance. Looking now she saw nothing to take pride in. Her once bright white fur around her neck and joints is now a dull gray. It’s coarse and thinning, a far cry from the bouncy tight coils of the past. Guess it was her fault, no time to keep up a 15-step furcare routine in a famine. Worst part was that her fur seemed to draw in moisture from the snow, so she always had that “wet dog” look to her on top of being twice as cold.

Her antennae were droopy and one was snapped in half from a run in with a Froggit. It hurt like a bitch but she wasn’t strong enough to rip the dead part off. Hopefully the rot doesn’t start to spread. Her lilac eyes were sunken and cloudy. Her once chubby figure is toned down, her ribs and spine are jarringly visible. She looked pathetically frail, like a gust of wild would turn her to dust.

Her wings brought her the most sorrow. They used to be an iridescent purple, the veins ran silver, and they had a small layer of fur for warmth and protection. They would lift her up and carry her through the clouds. She used to fly as close to the top of the cave as possible, she wanted to touch the stars. She never made it, the thinning oxygen made her light headed and sent her falling to the ground, but it was fun to dream.

Now they hang limp at her back. There are deep cracks running through them from dehydration and they were blackened at the tips. Frostbitten from the freezing temperatures of night in the forest. Useless. No matter, the stars don’t sparkle like they used to anyway. All she dreamed of now was death.

Putting on her faded yellow sweater dress and her black boots, she left her hole in search for food. She used to eat the sap from the trees, but the trees are dead now. She can’t physically eat meat and all the Monsters she’s run into didn’t take too kindly to her eating their clothes. Sometimes she contemplated moving. Maybe to Hotland. It’s warmer, but there’s way more Monsters, potential predators. They all moved towards the capital at the beginning of the famine in search of rations from the King, but now the rations have slowed and they are hungry. She’d make for the perfect snack.

She tried to dig her way through the wall into the ruins. The door was too heavy so that seemed to be her only option. She was making decent progress, but had to stop when her nails began to crack and her fingertips began to dust. It still hurts. Everything hurts.

She shuffled through the snow, staying away from the path to avoid any encounters. She hoped to bind the carcass of an animal or a human. She can take the bones and any snow with blood soaked into it to make some broth. With more blood she could make some jam, but she’d have to catch a fresh one for that, something she isn’t strong enough to do. She was a scavenger not a hunter like … like those skeletons.

She saw them along the edges of the forest sometimes. The taller one would set traps and the broader one would pick off any humans that avoided them. She’d take whatever they left behind from their catches. They were much larger and stronger than her, they scared her. She was thankful though, if not for them there would be no scraps for her. Thinking about them made her feel safe and often she would watch them while fantasizing about being near them, one big happy family. She was embarrassed by her stalker-ish behavior, they probably didn’t know she existed and they would dust her if they found out she’d been watching them.

If she ever overcame this embarrassment she’d be able to admit she wanted the axe wielding skeleton as more than just family. He made her withered soul vibrate and hum a strange noise. His hulking frame and piercing red eye sent shivers down her spine and into her delicate wings. She once knew what these signs meant, but everytime she tried to draw on that knowledge a sharp stab of pain would block her from it. Something in her insides must be damaged, pity.

Coming up on a clearing there was a fresh deer carcass lying in the middle, a deep gash was sliced through its throat. Was it a trap? It seemed too convenient that she’d find it untouched. She slowly creeped forward. She’ll have to be fast in case someone comes back for it. Grabbing it by the horns she begins to drag it back to her hole. It took twice as long, once again she isn’t very strong, but she made it. She sets the still bleeding cut over a jar. She planned to drain the carcass of its blood then return it to the clearing. She’ll get her jam and the mystery Monster can get their meat. Everyone wins.

The draining is a long boring process so she decides a quick nap would be a good use of that time. She curls into a ball in her “bed”, it’s just a pile of ripped sheets on the floor, and closes her eyes.

~

She’s woken up by the sound of rustling. How long had she been asleep? Looking around she sees the deer carcass has finished draining, a thin layer of frost was covering her floor signifying night has come, and a bulky figure was standing at the entrance to her hole.

Fuck.

…

Sans couldn’t believe it worked.

Sans had first seen the moth Monster 3 months ago. She was hiding behind a tree deep in the forest, watching him collect a human from a bear trap. She didn’t come any closer until he “left”. In reality he just circled around and hid in a tree. He saw her gather up the bloody snow in a jar and took the foot from the trap before resting it. So she was a scavenger. Makes sense, insect Monsters weren’t very good hunters. He would leave her alone for now.

The next time was while he was out with Papyrus. They were recalibrating traps and Papyrus spotted her in the trees. He looked to Sans to see if he should be concerned, but Sans just shook his head. The insect was no threat. As they continued, she inched closer and closer. She was carrying something in her hands, this put Sans on edge. He knew he could take her no problem, but he learned never to underestimate an opponent. Quickly she flung the object forward and scurried away. It rolled forward onto the path ahead of them. Sans approached cautiously to see it was a human arm. It was floppy and grayish. The blood had been drained from it and the bones were removed. Other than that it was perfectly preserved and good to eat.

What really caught Sans’ attention was the faint scent of the moth Monster that resided on it. His eye light grew as wide as his socket and his face got flushed. A purr started to rumble deep in his ribcage, his once dormant soul sparking to life. He looked back over at the forest to find her hiding behind a tree, peaking at him.

This whole situation became extremely amusing to Sans. It was funny that a weak insect like her thought to feed him and his brother. It was funny she thought he couldn’t see her even though her derelict wings stuck out and her dull eyes had a faint glow to them. It was funny his soul pick now of all times to emote, wasting precious magic on being flustered.

The hole in his head might have impaired his thinking, but he wasn’t stupid. He could recognize the feeling of finding his Soulmate. He found it especially funny that he would find her now, when he was damaged and couldn’t care for her properly. Yeah, the universe had a fucking hilarious way of doing things.

Just as Papyrus was about to approach the moth Monster and thank her for the food, Sans stopped him. Clearly she wasn’t ready to be confronted if she did her best to hide from them. Sans would come up with a plan to draw out his poor, scared Soulmate. He wondered if she felt it, too. If she knew what it meant. If she didn't, that's fine, he’d just have to teach her. As the skeletons began their walk home, aware of the moth Monster following a little ways behind, Sans smiled a real smile for the first time in a long time.

After that Sans made sure to leave some bone behind and drain some blood into the snow for the moth Monster. A quick trip to the Librarby told him she couldn’t eat meat, but that was fine. He’d make accommodations for her, he wanted to make her transition from wherever she lived in the forest to his home as smooth as possible and that meant having food stockpiled for her. He was almost ready to retrieve her, but he didn’t know where exactly she lived and he hadn’t seen her lurking for the past couple of days. She’ll be hungry when she finally reemerges.

So he spent all day finding a juicy deer, lots of blood to attract his pretty little moth, and set it out for her to find. He didn’t have much hope in this plan, fully prepared to try again, because yes this did sort of look like a trap and she might be hungry, but she's not careless.

Oh, nevermind she walked right up to it with barely a second of thought and started dragging it away. This is exactly why Sans needed to take her. She could have been seriously hurt if this was put here by someone else.

Sans followed her all the way back to the ruin wall. She entered a hole in the wall and dragged the deer with her. She set it up to drain the blood into a jar then curled up in the corner to sleep. She was living in even worse conditions than he was. This was unacceptable. He stood in the “doorway” trying to block the wind from disturbing her rest and waited for her to wake.

This really fucking worked?!

…

She was frozen in place. What was she supposed to do? She recognized the figure as the axe wielding skeleton. Did he finally catch her watching him? Was he here to kill her? She hoped he got it over with fast.

“I know … you’re awake … wisp” he drew out slowly, like it was a struggle to string together the sentence. Must be from the hole in his skull. Looking at it filled me with sadness, I wanted to hold him close and take all his pain away. Why? This was not the time for romantic fantasies!

“Grab your things … we’re leaving”

“Why” (y/n) asked. Without her realizing, she gets up and begins grabbing what little clothes she has, her food storage, and a few sentimental items. Only the important stuff. Her body didn’t question, it followed his command happily.

“Can’t have … my pretty mate .. living in a hole … now can I?”

Mate? Like soulmates. He thought she was his mate!? He seemed unphased by her shocked appearance. He just stood there and waited, a deep rumble coming from his chest. Was that what the vibrating in her soul was trying to tell her?

How embarrassing, she didn’t even realize she had found her soulmate. It's been months and she hadn’t realized. How dumb could she be? He's probably livid with her. The sudden realization brought tears to her eyes. She had failed at the very first step of meeting her soulmate.

“Sorry” (y/n) said with water filled eyes.
He moved towards her and cooed, trying to calm her down. He didn’t really know why she was upset but the sight of her tears felt like a knife stabbing into his soul. He wrapped his arms around her and held her close. Her scent made his head spin and arousal started to build in his pelvis. He urged her to hurry her packing. This hole was not the place for him to loose control and fuck her. No, he cleaned his room just for her so he’s gonna take her there.

When she was done and her cries turned into little sniffles he picked her up and carried through the snow and out of the forest. Her boots were not thick enough for a Monster affected by temperature. He’d need to get her new ones later. As they passed through Snowdin village (y/n) noticed eyes glaring at them from the shadows. She whimpered, they probably hated that Sans was bringing you here. One more mouth to feed and less food to go around. It filled her with shame, maybe she should have stayed.

Her thoughts and their stares were cut off by the deep growl resonating from Sans’ ribcage. A clear warning to all that heard it. She buried her head into his shoulder, hiding in embarrassment. He raises a hand and pets her hair, mumbling praises and reassurances.

As they enter the Skelebro’s house an excited looking Papyrus sticks his head out the doorway to greet them.

“HELLO MS. MOTH LADY, I AM EXTREMELY PLEASED TO WELCOME TO OUR HOME, I HAVE MADE A MAGNIFICENT DINNER WITH YOUR PREFERENCES IN MIND. SANS SET DOWN ALL THAT STUFF AND BRING YOUR MATE TO THE TABLE.”

“Sure … thing … bro”

The moth Monster was startled by the loud skeleton. Clutching onto Sans for purchase. He puts her belongings on the couch temporarily and ushers her into the kitchen. She tries to pull out a chair, but Sans sits down first and pulls her into his lap. The top of her head barely reaches his collarbones. His scent swallows her up and she feels a heady feeling overtaking her body. Her thighs subconsciously rub together, looking for any type of relief from the warmth radiating from her core.

Sans, apparently, thought her internal struggle was a game because he grabs onto her hips and pulls her down harder onto his still hard cock. Chuckling and staring down into her teary eyes as he grinds into her throbbing heat. As if Papyrus wasn’t across the room preparing their plates.

“S-stop ~mhm~ please” (y/n) begged. Her arousal was soaking through her dress and forming a puddle in his lap. Surely if papyrus didn’t see them, he'd be able to smell the pheromones her body was releasing in response to her arousal. How embarrassing would that be, first day formally meeting her brother-in-law and she becomes a smoke bomb of sex pheromones in the middle of his kitchen.

“Awww … what's wrong little wisp … your all flushed” he chuckled. He pulled her dress up around her waist and angled her so that her clit would catch on the seam of his shorts. Then sped up his movements.

“Aughhhmmmhh~” her scream was muffled by his hand. For the first time in years her wings started vibrating, creating a faint buzzing sound as she got closer and closer to climax. A new gush of slick rushed down her thighs.

“Sans~ ‘m close fuuuu~ so close p-please~”

“Hurry then … wisp … before Pappy … sees”

He leans down and nips at the top of her wing as the buzzing gets louder. With a squeal she cums against his strained cock. Shuddering, coming down from such an incredible high, she realizes she's been running her antenna along the hole in his skull. Caressing along the inside and edges. Oh no, did she hurt him!?

“S-sorry” she says as she withdraws from the injured area. He runs his long blue tongue along it as it retreats, sending a shiver down her spine. Her soul hums with satisfaction.

“‘s fine … wisp … felt good~”

“HERE YOU GO” Papyrus interjects “A BLOOD AND BONE BROTH SMOOTHIE OPTIMIZED TO FILL AN INSECT'S STOMACH, PERFECTED BY THE MAGNIFICENT PAPYRUS”

The first sip brought tears to (y/n)’s eyes. Not only are they sharing their food, but putting in extra effort to make it easier for her to consume. This is all she's ever dreamed of, a loving home, good food, the sex too but she'd never admit that out loud. Sans already had a big head.

They spent that dinner eating, discussing puzzles, plans for finding more food, and getting to know each other. Well (y/n) and Papyrus were, Sans looked to be half asleep. Turns out her and papyrus had a lot in common and they planned to spend a day together solving puzzles. As the food was finished the discussion came to a close. Sans picked her up and bid Pappy goodnight. Walking right past her belongings still sitting on the coach and ignoring her comments of how “messy” it was to leave it in a common area. Up the stairs and into his, relatively, clean room.

He laid her down on her stomach. He lifted her hips and propped them up with a pillow. (y/n)’s face flushed from the revealing position, her slick pussy exposed to the air. Sans leaned over, bit down on her sweater dress, gently to avoid damaging her fragile wings, and ripped it off her body.

“I liked that dress” she whines.

“I’ll get you … a new one” he placates as he slowly pulls his shorts down. All eight inches of his glowing blue cock bounces as it's released from its prison. It's incredibly hard and thick and suddenly (y/n) is scared. She's never taken anything that big before. A whimper escapes her throat as she gazes upon it in awe.

“You’ll be … fine” he reasures “my mate … was made to … take all this … dick”

He rubs his tip against her entrance, leaving a sticky blue trail of precum along her slit. With a thumb he pulls her fat pussy lips apart, humming in anticipation as more slick spills out of her little hole. Her wings begin to vibrate again, the low buzzing sound filling the room, Sans found this adorable. He runs his fingertips over the veins in her wings to calm her.

“Deep breath … sweet mate” was the only warning he gave.

(y/n) could feel his cock deep in her stomach. Kissing right up against her womb. It's like her brain short circuited, all she could do is babble as he slams into her cunt over and over. Sans has never felt such bliss. Her perfect slut hole swallowed him up.

“My perfect mate .. all … mine”

He wrapped his arms around her middle and started licking her wings, making her squeal. Head fuzzy from the intensity, she didn’t even realize her dull purple soul had escaped the confines of her chest. It snuck under Sans’ shirt to rub up against his own. Taking him by surprise.

“Auugh … sneaky thing” he groaned

He tightened his grip on her waist and pulled her flush to his pelvis. It was clear his goal was to impregnate her, without consulting her first, since the tip of his cock was damn near breaching her cervix. (y/n) gripped onto the covers for dear life, it felt so good it's starting to get painful. Looking over her shoulder she saw Sans, smile manic and eyelight bright and bloated. It was beautiful, drawing all her attention. Reaching back with her antenna she felt around the inside of his eye socket.

“That … tickles”

“Sans~ ’m close”

“Go on then … come f’me … sweet wisp … gonna … fill you up”

Their souls sour above them in a beautiful dance of love and lust as they reach their climax together. Creating a red ribbon, bonding them together. It was the brightest, most beautiful light (y/n) I had ever seen. She felt happy.

Exhausted, they cuddled closer and drifted to sleep.

“Will need … to go … shopping for … the baby … tomorrow” he mumbled half asleep.

“The baby?”
