Summary
After the giant war, instead of choosing to stay at either camp, Nico does what Nico does best. He runs away, leaving behind Hazel, a girl worried for her brother. Jason, who had hopes of becoming friends. Reyna, who has seen Nico go through so much, on their journey with the Parthenonos and really just hopes he is safe. And Will, still upset - Nico had promised to stay, recover in the infirmary, but he never did.
All in all, things are not great. Nico reaches a new low, when he is left injured and alone in an alley, unable to call for his father for help, and too weak to shadow travel to safety.
Then things take a drastic turn for the worse. When he is kidnapped.
By his grandmother.
(that first paragraph of the summary sounds really angsty, and while there’s some angst, this is mostly light and fun. I was just being a tad bit dramatic up there)
