Summary
Whereas Luffy had told his crew to get strong, he spent two years doing that and more. He gathered allies. Some even who had previously been enemies, he was able to sway to his side.
Don’t get him wrong, his ultimate goal was still the same. Luffy was going to be the Pirate King, no doubt about that. But Luffy had changed since the death of his brother, and subsequent awakening of his devil fruit – no longer willing to forgive what the marines were willing to do in the name of their “justice”, regardless of the few good people that were involved with them.
His new philosophy was simple. He would become the Pirate King. And those that stand in his way, those that chose the path of false “justice”, will feel the revenge of an enraged king. Will know the wrath of a God.
