Kiranya Swan has lived in a small town her whole life.
She was used to the constant of her day-to-day life, the familiarity of knowing the people she shared a community with. Kiranya also enjoyed the sense of ease and comfort that it brought her, by being surrounded by the same buildings and scenery.
It was why Kiranya had been surprised when her dad had suggested that she try something new and sign up to be a foreign exchange student. It surprised her even more when she found out that she was accepted into said program.
What made her sad about the situation though, was the fact that she would be leaving to Italy at the start of her junior year of high school. And her twin sister, Isabella, would be moving to their hometown and transferring to Forks high in the middle of January.
The twin that she longed to see again, after years of no contact with one another.
But as it turns out, fate had other plans.
