Regulus was just trying to read a book. A simple task right? Not if your boyfriend is James Potter and you're trying to read in his dorm with the other Marauders. He had to keep rereading the same sentence because he couldn't understand it with James and Sirius playing some stupid game that requires red and green lights? He didn't try to understand that game. He finally gave up and was about to leave when James said,
"Where are you going? Can I come, please!"
"I'm just heading to dinner, do you want to come?"
"Sure! Sorry Pads we will continue when I return," With that he scooped Regulus up in his arms Koloa style and went to the door.
"Jamie, dear, as must as I love being carried, can you PUT ME DOWN?"
"Aww, I like carrying you though," He pouted.
"Yes, but I have working legs,"
"Fine," He huffed, setting Regulus down. "Ok, let's go,"
"Hold on!" Sirius yelled. "JAMIE? A new nickname I was uninformed of?! How dare you!"
"Yes, I call him Jamie but that's for me and me alone," Regulus said. "Just like for I don't call any of you 'Prongs' or 'Wormtail'"
"Yeah, but that's Marauders, Jamie is a nickname stemming from James so it's fair game,"
"You have one chance to never say it again or I will do something you will not like," Regulus said holding up his wand.
"Oh like what? Are you gonna hex me? We've both been through worse so I will still be able to say Jamie,"
"Ok, you've left me no choice," Regulus said, waving his wand. "Ok, you can say Jamie now,"
"I will thank you!" Sirius spoke sassily, but when he tried to say Jamie only color-changing bubbles came from his lips. So he tried again, more bubbles. "What did you do?"
"New spell I've been working on. You like it?" Regulus smirked.
"No! Undo it!"
"No thanks,"
"That is scary but also amazing," James beamed.
"Thank you, Jamie," Regulus said looking at Sirius when he said it. "Now, I'm starving ready?"
"Always,"
"Wha- you can't leave me like this!" Sirius yelled but the door was already swinging shut
