Summary
A rewrite of the second half of season 1, beginning at the end of episode 11...
Lucy is lost and hurting after the events in episode 11. She doesn't know where to turn and ends up at Kate's door...
Kate wants nothing more than to help Lucy, and to repair their relationship, but however much she tries she can't seem to find a way to reach the woman who means everything to her.
As Lucy spirals, will they ever be able to heal the hurt of the past and eventually find a way back to each other?

Their journey had me on lock down from beginning to end. From the heart wrenching beginning, to the almost there, to not quite there and to there. This was one of those Kacy fics that left a mark on me. This Kate and Lucy had so much to work through but their love was front and center and never not shining through. Truly was an experience reading this fic!!!
