In Ketterdam, marriages are just another contract, albeit a bit more permanent. They were a good way to make alliances, even between people who wouldn’t ordinarily be seen together. Which is how Wylan Van Eck ends up being married off to Jesper Fahey, in order to solidify the connections between Kaz Brekker’s Dregs and Jan Van Eck’s mercher empire. The only problem?
