Akito walks into crase caffe, the bell on top of the door echoes through the empty place.
MEIKO-san left with luka-san to do whatever it is they do together. KAITO promised to teach the kagamines to Dj and miku went along with them to make sure the sibling don’t get into a fight.
So that meant Akito was alone in the caf-
“Aki? Is that you?”
Akito sees a little head of blue pop up from one of the tables, his eyes light up when he notices it is in fact Akito who walked through the door.
“ Aki! If you’re looking for MEIKO-san then she isn’t here” he sits back down and makes space for Akito to sit next to him, his little fingers wrap around the cup of hot coffee MEIKO had made for him before she left.
Akito wanted to be alone for a little bit. He wanted to get his mind off somethings that happened back at home, but being with Touya like this isn’t a bad option either.
“Nah im fine. Just wanted to get my mind off things so I came here” he makes his way to sit next to Touya, who puts his cup and book aside to hear Akito out on what’s wrong.
“ what happened Aki?” Touya tilts his head to the side, some of his split blue hair falling onto his pretty pink cheeks. Akito thinks he might never be able to stop admiring his beautiful partner.
Akito sighs “it’s nothing really, just my dad being a bitch again” he lays his head on Touyas shoulder. Touya pats his back as a way to comfort him
“ hey, if it makes you feel better I can make you some pancakes. I’m pretty sure MEIKO-San has the ingredients in here anyway” he goes to stand up but Akito grabs his arm. “Nah dude you’re gonna burn down the caffe if you try to do that”
Touya sits back down with a sigh. “ well what can I do to make you feel better?” Akito hugs onto Touyas arm, snuggling into his neck as he tries his best to ignore his burning cheeks.
“ just stay here with me…please” he says, his voice barely audible.
Touya leans into Akito touch. He firmly believes Akitos warmth could melt the coldest of hearts, kind of like his own before meeting him. He just wished he could express such feelings in a better way.
“I’ll be here with you for as long as you need me to Aki” Touya hugs him in full. You could hear a confused and flustered noise coming from Akito, but he quickly shakes it off and accepts the hug.
Akito pulls his face away from Touyas neck. He takes a deep breath to try and calm down his rapidly beating heart.
“Bro I think I might have a crush on you”

“ Aki…we’ve been dating for three years..” Touya says with a confused look, seemingly unaware of why Akito looks so flustered.
“J-Jesus three years already?” Akito says scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. His heart’s beating so fast he thinks it might explode.
He knew they were dating of course, but to be reminded of how long and for Touya to just say it so casually makes his cheeks heat up.
No matter how long they’ve dated, Akito still feels the same way he felt when they first started dating. And he doesn’t think or want that to change.
Touya nods as he intertwines their fingers “ three years and a lot more to come, I hope” he looks down at his coffee cup, consequently making himself smaller as if ready for rejection.
“Touya, look at me” Akito cups his face, making him look up at him.
“ I love you more than anything dude. I want and will spend the rest of my life together with you Tou. Don’t forget that.”
Touya looks up at him with a pout, his cheeks as red as Akitos and his eyes watery with tears. “ you really mean that Aki?”
“You know what-“ Akito starts as he presses their foreheads together. “- I promise I’ll be by your side as long as I live. No matter what happens, I’ll be right there with you Tou.” He ends his little speech with a kiss on the cheek.
“you’re gonna say all that and not even kiss me right? Tsk” Touya says in a teasing tone with a lopsided smile.
“ you little smart ass” Akito says before closing the already small gap between them. They both can’t help but smile through the kiss.
Many things in life are temporary, many things are a mystery. But one thing that both of them know for sure is that their love is neither of those things. And that neither of them want this moment to end.
