The note reads;
”Dearest Collector. I’d like to say something about tokens of goodwill, about trusting you more than I would trust myself, about toasting to future allies. All of it is true, of course—you seem much more competent than the last Collector—but I doubt our paths will ever cross more than they have now.
The truth is this: You are the Collector, and therefore this package belongs with no one but you. I don’t recommend touching them.
