Summary
Steve inhales fast, then chokes on nothing as his entire neck and chest flushes pink, Eddie watching in a trance as Steve stares up at him bewildered. Like a baby deer that just walked on its legs for the first time, like the look of shock Eddie gets when he kills a player character in a campaign. Some mixture of excitement and confusion and betrayal all wrapped up into one, all playing out across Steve’s face in reaction to being called a good boy.
