"So?" The bunny cocked his eyebrow. Did bunnies even have eyebrows? Yep, that settled it.

Legend spat back. Accept it wasn't legend, was it? Wind blinked slowly. No, there is no way in Hyrule that this small pink bunny, rabbit? Is the Veteran…right?

"Sooooo," Wind put his hands together, sticking out his index fingers, bringing them to his mouth before directing them at the talking bunny.

"So?" The bunny cocked his eyebrow. Did bunnies even have eyebrows? Yep, that settled it.
    -
"Yeah, sorry about that…hmm…. We're not entirely sure what happened, Sailor. You know that thing the Rancher uses to turn into a wolf?" Wind nodded, "Well, while you were gone, it kind of exploded? Turning all of us into animals."

"Ooooookkayyy." Wind took a deep breath in. "I'm guessing not all friendly animals?"

"No… also, only smithy and I can talk, but we figure I do the talking considering his state." Legend shrugged.

"And…what state is that?" Wind's face morphed into concern.

"This!" A small squeak cried out.

Wind eyes darted to the ground. There behind legend was a tiny multicolored mouse with what appeared to be a cape.
    -
He stood almost the same height as Wind, just a few inches shorter, and somehow had even bluer eyes. Even though one was only in use.

Wind let out a sigh, "Hi, Time."

Time let out a low, breathy howl, but wind knew he was saying, 'Hi Sailor.' The older wolf moved to the boy. Gently rubbing his head against the sailors in a comforting motion. The Sailor had worried the older man greatly during his outburst. Why did death have to be the boy's first conclusion? That was something he would be discussing with him later. For now, he just wanted to calm the boy. His heart was beating faster again, probably thanks to the Pup's growl.
    -
A whiny laugh erupted from behind the younger wolf. A red fox holding the sheikah slate in its mouth came forward.
"Champion?" Wind questioned as he knelt forward.

"Yep, that's him!" Four squeaked out, "Surprisingly, he still can use the slate. We went ahead and put all our bags and weapons into it."

"That was probably funny to watch." Wind whispered as he took the slate from Wild's mouth and tied it tightly to his belt.

"More like disappointing. We were hoping the master sword would be able to change us back before you even returned but, noooooo, I swear Hylia has a sick sense of hummer. Instead of turning her 'hero's' back, she let eight different animals drag around a bunch of oversized items." Legend huffed out.

"It was pretty funny." Four whispered into winds ear, accidentally tickling the sailor with his whiskers. Allowing a giggle to escape the boy. That was then accompanied by a soft purr.
    -
"That's a good start, now take one breath IN—" Legend was stopped by the sudden grasp of winds body, caging him into a hug. The sailor laid his head on top of the bunnies shutting his eyes tight.
"This…this is fine, I guess." It really was. From here, the Vet could regulate the boys breathing and heartbeat better.
    -
A soft presence came behind wind. Though the boy didn't dare to look up. It nestled right up against his back, slowly wrapping around Wind's small frame. Then let out a soft howl. Wind listened. It reminded him of the Wind's Requiem, except one note was wrong. 'Left, right, down, left, right, down,' the wolf howled. The sailor didn't know why but this overwhelming wave of calm washed over him. Allowing himself to lean back, putting almost all his body weight against the animal. He finally gained the courage to look up.
    -
"Yes, but most of us are nocturnal, and well besides… don't want to be caught by any travelers during the daytime." The vet chuckled.

Boy would that be a sight, wind thought. A sailor holding a pink bunny, two large wolves, one carrying a mouse on its head, a lion, a horse with a now fox on its back, and a giant bird. Okay, actually, he really wants to see that now.
    -
Wind put out his bedroll, still trying to figure out how a bunch of animals had forced him to go to bed. They just stared at him. How did that become such a compelling force, he wasn't sure.
    -
At that moment, legend understood the sailor a bit better. He kept his secrets by being cryptic. The sailor kept his secrets by feeding you with so much information you think you know everything about him. How much did legend really know about his baby brother? Just today, he learned the boy was stuck in a dream, didn't know what a lion was, and is terrified of large birds. What else is he hiding?
