The first thing his slightly dumbfound mind managed to conjure up was that he’d been isekai’d, but it was thought with a mental laugh and a ‘yeah, sure’ followed right after.
Meaning the only feasible conclusion was that he was still asleep, and this was all a dream.-----------

I'd say it's worth the read as long as you like Childe and you want to see him uplifted and given due credit for his accomplishments. If you want to see him vindicated. If you have mommy (or daddy) issues and you want someone to speak on his behalf. (Myself included, probably. I. Have self awareness lol).
If you don't like Childe. Or you prefer a cold emotionless, more lethal version. Then probably not for you.
As ironic as this sounds taking into account certain plot points, this story humanizes him. And gives him allies. Sometimes even acknowledges that the allies were always there. It's just about switching perspectives.
Anyways I love Childe very much. And Zhongli. And Xiao. I'd say I'm half in love with most of the Liyue cast ngl. But it's nice to see them each get the help they need. This fic definitely had me say: "oh my baby" to all three of the above lol.
Very sweet. Very fluffy. Also a little angsty oh-woe-is-me Ajax. But overall a fluffy piece. And also funny at times.
So yeah. I enjoyed this very much. It made me miss the fandom. The game. The early Liyue days. Very nostalgic feel for me. Made me want to write again. So thank you for writing. Definitely a very indulgent piece but no less enjoyable for it
