Uzuki (he/they): Biromantic asexual, nonbinary. I'd like to think Uzuki's bi since in the game, he did briefly mention how he's never had romantic or sexual experiences with girls or guys. While sure, it could just be them wanting to specify, the idea's still there. I also think they're ace since he never really seemed interested in sex or sexual things. Sure, he does get in those situations often, but he has more of a "If it happens and I'm in the mood, then that's just what happens" mentality. Also, some ace people still can have sex, have high libidos, masturbate, etc., since asexuality in and of itself is a spectrum. I say he's nonbinary but still uses he/him since that's just what they're comfortable with. But, they would also like if people alternated between "he" and "they" (even though they'd, like, never say that to most people out of fear that he'd "bother" them). I feel like he just wouldn't want to be confined to a specific gender and its expectations, so they're just on the spectrum somewhere floating around.
Izayoi (he/him): Demiromantic pansexual, cis. Izayoi is someone that is very weary of other people. He didn't want to just date ANYONE, he wanted to make sure he really knew them. When talking about past relationships, he's mentioned how his betrothed partner fell in love with him, but he didn't reciprocate whatsoever, not even showing the slightest of interest and tended to brush off his attraction towards Izayoi. He also hated whenever random people would approach him to ask to make a contract with him since they tended to be only after his riches, bloodline, and/or good looks. When he fell in love with Uzuki, it was because he realized that Uzuki didn't care about those kinds of things and even found it gross that some people were like that towards Izayoi. As a result, Izayoi started gaining interest and wanted to get to know Uzuki better. I think he's pan because after getting into a relationship, I doubt his partner's gender would even cross his mind. In the beginning of his and Uzuki's Season 1 route, Izayoi said to Uzuki that he'd do sexual things with someone if they were a "sexy sub", and never specified a gender. Additionally in their Season 2 route, when his father said he wanted Izayoi to find a richer sub to form a contract with and didn't care about the gender, Izayoi seemed to agree on that and never said his gender preference. He'd most likely be the type to say, "At least give me these specific options if you really wanna try to convince me..." but he didn't. But obviously, he still wouldn't have wanted to find another partner either way since he loved Uzuki and was already in a fully committed relationship with him.
Chihaya (he/him): Demiromantic demisexual, cis. Just like Izayoi, Chihaya hates being approached by his "fans". He's also weary and antisocial. It took Chihaya quite some time to realize his feelings for Takamine, and that was after he started to feel more comfortable around him. He didn't fully realize his feelings for Takamine until close to the end of their Season 1 route, which was after he thought about all the moments they had where they got closer and began to understand each other better. But, it was mainly Chihaya understanding Takamine since he lost all of his memories about the other due to Takamine's strong abilities as a switch.
Takamine (he/it): Demiromantic pansexual, agender. As a kid, Takamine was never really close to anyone besides Chihaya due to his unstable emotions. Chihaya always helped him emotionally, even if it was through somewhat off/awkward wording, and Takamine was very moved by it. This, in turn, caused Takamine to gain feelings for Chihaya, and allowed him to gain the courage later on when he's older to be stronger, both physically and emotionally, so it could protect Chihaya. Takamine's pansexual because he loves Chihaya for being Chihaya, not for what's between his legs or how he identifies. It loves Chihaya for all he's done for him. I say Takamine's agender because he never cared about how people perceived him. It just wants to be there for its loved ones and that's it. I'm still questioning why I think he goes by he/it and I don't really have a specific reason why I think he would, it's just a random vibe I get. Plus, I feel like there needs to be more neopronoun representation.
Kasumi (any pronouns): Queer, genderfluid. Kasumi is a very carefree person, so I doubt they would care about labels very much. Since "queer" is now used as an all-encompassing term for those that aren't straight, he would probably just stick to that since in a way, it's right to the point. Additionally, queerness is seen as a more inclusive thing because it usually brings BIPOC, disabled and neurodivergent people into the discussion. Kasumi isn't straight and is a very open and accepting person, so "queer" would probably suit her ideals best. Also because of Kasumi's carefree nature, I don't think he would care about how people perceive their gender expression. Kasumi is Kasumi, and how she decides to express that is entirely up to her, not to mention that they seem to take pride in their androgynous appearance. (But this isn't to say that those who are gender non-conforming owe anyone androgyny. I'm just saying that in this case, Kasumi's expression, I guess in lack of better terms, "matches" his gender identity, in my opinion.)
Gingetsu (he/him): Queer/unlabeled, cis. Just like Kasumi, Gingetsu wants to be inclusive, and I don't think he would be the type to be hung-up on labels. He just is what he is, and that's it. If anyone questions him about it, he just says he's queer because, well, it's the truth. He's not straight, but he also just dates who he dates, so labeling himself as queer would just feel right to him.
Mizuho (they/them): Demiromantic asexual, agender. Mizuho is the typical introvert that doesn't want to be involved in anyone's business, or have someone be involved in theirs. They don't like talking much, and have a pretty low social battery in general. They never really thought of romance or sex or DS or anything like that until Narumi came along and got close to them. As the two got closer, Mizuho's romantic feelings would grow. I also think they're ace since, just like Uzuki, they have the "If it happens, it happens" mentality. Even when discussing things surrounding DS and sex, Mizuho never saw it as a big thing, and would speak quite casually. Now, on the topic of gender, I feel like Mizuho would be so annoyed by either sides' expectations of gender and how one expresses it, that they'd want to disconnect from it as a whole. So, they identify as agender and use they/them pronouns so that no matter how they express themselves, they won't have to worry about appealing to a certain idea of what they're "supposed" to look like based on the gender they'd potentially identify with in that situation.
Narumi (he/him): Panromantic asexual, cis.
Yuugiri (he/him): Demiromantic demisexual, cis.
Kazuha (he/him): Pansexual, cis.
