Ronin Keiji- Male, 15, Japanese
Characteristics- Rusty red hair that is usually pulled up in a ponytail streaked with brown, gray eyes, and long thin fingers with very short fingernails. Has a relatively normal skin color with a weight that is described as “looks like a stick, but can kick”.
His regular outfit consists of gray sneakers paired with worn jeans and an old analog t-shirt. Described as stout and lengthy, built for speed and reacts well in close quarters. Probably has ADHD, and frequently bites nails in class or bounces legs as a way to maximize focus. Has a slight scar just above his jaw that slashes from the bottom of his right ear to his jawline.
Quirk- (“Displacement”) Can touch an object and “displace” it up to 5 meters away, can also touch a living thing and teleport the whole mass up to 5 cm from its previous location. Observation concludes that the quirk depends on five finger touch, and in extreme cases no touch at all. Side effects to the user include being thrown off balance, the urge to vomit (in extreme cases), lightheadedness, and the rapid consumption of energy in the body. It also seems that Keiji has developed a certain tolerance to soda and other processed foods as his digestive system is modified by his quirk to completely process these foods effectively without the addition of any outside proteins.
In addition, Keiji often uses his quirk to “displace” people who he wants to throw off balance. Eliciting the victim to stumble or in other cases, trip on their feet and fall on the floor. Keiji also will displace an object directly in front of a person to cause the same outcome. Overall, Keiji uses his quirk to break the flow of his opponent and use it in his favor.
Recommendation-
Underground hero- Keiji’s quirk would be of good use in high risk enviornments such as hostage situations and potential suicides if used correctly. His quirk would be put to good use in subterfuge and discretion.
Alignment- Chaotic Good
Behavior- a trickster in more ways than one. Will lie to your face just to make you walk a mile to get water. Is also quite the jokester and makes jokes at the class's expense.
Likes- soda and laughter (the happy one), and Bakugo getting beat into the ground by Midoriya.
Dislikes- vegetables and Bakugo although for some reason he does not particularly antagonize him.
Motivations- Keiji might be a trickster, but his personality is quite charismatic. He is a good person but finds no harm in causing a little chaos. Probably would be best friends with Mei; they would get along like a house on fire.
Flaws- Sometimes will go a little too far with his pranks, and has a hard time admitting to his faults.
Strengths- Excels at close combat. Probably took a few martial arts classes before high school.
Hero Costume- His hero costume consists of a black tear-resistant and reinforced tight-fitting tank top with slim fit steel gray leggings that tuck into black, red accented combat boots. He also has fingerless gloves that go past the elbow and are made of thick, tear and slash resistant material that allow him to use his quirk effectively. Included in the outfit is a small gray and red bandolier that goes over the shoulder and is attached to a belt with the same color that contains a knife and other useful objects that are easy to displace (plus a first aid kit, as always). The winter version would also include a light wind jacket that insulates the wearer and is also easy to move in.
Family- His family consists of his uncle Teiki and younger brother Hiroki. His uncle has been taking care of him and his brother for 3 years and is the most loving person anyone could meet. His brother is a little troublemaker like his brother but always listens to his family. The family of three might be small but they always have each others backs.
