Summary
Harry Potter stiffened beneath the soft leather of the Sorting Hat. There was something so intrinsically wrong with the feeling of the cloth on his head that he had half the mind to fling it across the room.
Before he could do anything, the utter wrongness rose to a crescendo until, finally, a voice spoke.
Not Slytherin, ey? Well, we'll have to see about that.
In which Harry Potter is hungry for recognition, power, and success - anything to prove that he is more than his infant self. In turn, he is sorted into Slytherin. Events spiral.

Good premise, I even liked where it was all heading... and then there was the argument with Harry/Theo. Harry made a stupid mistake, Theo chucked a tantrum... which, okay, he has trauma and they are eleven... but then when it 'resolves' basically Harry gets injured in the forest and Theo chucks another tantrum (this one not justified)... and Harry is all apologetic and Theo is rude and then harry forgives him for nothing. not Even I'm sorry I overreacted, but it is a sensitive topic for me. I can just tell Harry is going to be walked all over in this fic, and there will probably be some great 'romance' between Harry and Theo. Yeah, no thanks, that's going to be a hella abusive relationship. Pity the character building up to that point was great, and I liked that it was following cannon but from left of field.
