hey there hot stuff: you might be asking yourself "why exactly am i getting a chapter update for a piece that's been completed for well over a year?" and the simple answer is that I CANNOT LET THINGS REST. so. there's that.
when i sat down to remaster step, step, close one of the things i wanted to do was give the unbelievably stunning art that keikbird (tumblr + twitter: keikbird) made for this piece more than just a quick link in the author's notes. a chapter seemed the most intuitive way to do so, and thus here we are!!
