MY SHAYLAS!!!! back when this fic came out i can guarantee that i had like zero idea of how much these two would come to mean to me..... all i knew is i got the white hair lady with an absolutely gorgeous story and the beautiful opera singer along with her in a fateful ten-pull. i had no idea that shenhe followed the character archetype i would come to adore, nor that yun jin was practically a 1:1 ratio of how i think, how i act, or what motivates me in this world...... they're making me cry..... ty for writing this masterpiece.
the red string soulmate trope is genuinely perfect for this pairing with shenhe's whole red rope thing going on. i'll never ever forget this fic, even when i wasn't as ridiculously attached to these two i remember it left a lasting impression on me. ty for indirectly blessing me with a shenjin fic in the big 2025!!!!
