[She stared at it, tracing her pinky around the heart. She hesitated, then lifted her pinky and traced the J.
Someone had painstakingly carved the name ‘Julia’ inside a heart on this bench. Somewhere out there was a person named Julia…who was loved and cherished so much that someone had carved her name into this bench, to tell the world—or whoever sat here and took note of it—that they loved her.
Her face crumpled with longing at the thought, as she sat in the cold, alone and lost in the world.
She wanted to be someone’s Julia. To be…To be someone that anyone cared about that much.] :(( -
