Summary
Aymeric,
this world is dying. I thought I knew what the end of the world looked like when I saw the reddened skies as Dalamud slowly fell from the skies, five long years ago, or when Omega and the primal Shinryu battled over Baelar's Wall and set the world aflame. It's different here. This world is still, held in a choking grip of oppressive light that drowns out all life. I have travelled to the edge of where the flood of Light stopped, and it was beyond anything I could have imagined. Towering waves of crystallized light, frozen in eternity, as far as the eye can see.
And beyond? An empty wasteland where nothing grows.
