Summary
Harry Potter grew up in a world that hated him for who he was. They beat him spit on him and were completely and woefully ignorant of the snake they were toeing with their boot. Harry Potter enters the wizarding world leaving rubble in his wake and a grudge in his grasp. He is not the innocent light-loving Gryffindor the Wizarding World was expecting, or the puppet hero Dumbledore hoped for. Twisted by trauma and his connection to the dark lord, his similarities to his parents stop beyond his eyes and hair.
This is the Harry I imagine should have been considering his circumstance and attitude in the books. To me he makes more sense as the Villain of his own story.
