Summary
“I take it that they were unsatisfactory?” Hux guesses airily, trying to control his breathing. It wouldn’t do to display the effect the other man has on him, but the usual deep breaths Hux uses to regain his composure only addle his mind with more of Ren’s scent.
“Unsatisfactory,” Ren repeats, his voice menacing. “You send me four omegas and you—you send me four omegas who look like that girl and then you dare to ask me if I found them unsatisfactory?!”

Supreme Leader Ren is an alpha that goes into a fury-induced rut much more frequently than what’s good for the structural integrity of the First Order’s fleet. Hux makes up a foolproof plan to deal with this; hire some omega sex workers that look like the scavenger girl, have Ren work through his rut with them, save credits.
The plan goes sideways in less than a standard hour.

“That’s not what I was—” the alpha bites off the end of his angry words, then heaves out a heavy, tortured sigh. “Fine, at least we’re talking now. Shit. I’m not angry. I’m solving a problem. I’m communicating. I’m calm. Alright, I understand where you’re coming from—”
“I highly doubt that,” Hux sniffs testily, his ire soothed somewhat by the hilarious little pep talk Ren is trying to give himself, something that sounds very much like some peace-loving Jedi nonsense.
