Season two is out, Sam looks absolutely lovestruck by everything Peter says on screen as per fucking usual, and the internet is having a gay field day about it. A gay field day as in, posting gifs of them looking at each other and going, omg they’re in love here and getting a hundred retweets for it. A gay field day as in, writing pseudo-fanfiction in the form of bullet point lists on what they think his and Peter’s mundane personal lives are like. A gay field day as in, spending what truly looks like every waking minute tweeting about two documentarians that only have any idea they exist because said documentarians are fending off a panic attack because of the tweets about their best friend they’re in love with. You know, like a normal making-a-documentary-for-Netflix-with-your-best-friend-you’re-in-love-with experience.
or: the internet exists and sam and peter lose their shit, then get it together.

I think if you wanted you could talk more about how much you’re in love with me.” His voice sort of breaks on the last bit, smile finally cracking through the casual façade. Peter gives him a look and the smile only grows. “You know, because you’re in love with me.”
