MJ rubbed a palm against her forehead. "Tomorrow is the last day to submit papers for internships." She told him. "I have submitted six applications, done four practice sessions and three interviews, yet have not gotten a single placement."
Peter furrowed his brow. "That... That can't be right, MJ. You have years and years of experience in mechanics. How has every single garage turned you down?"
"I don't know. I talked to one of the boys who applied at the other garage. he had absolutely no experience whatsoever. I bet you he wouldn't even be able to tell the engine from the brake light. Guess who got hired."
Peter let out a deep sigh. "They hired him over you? Geez MJ. I can see why you're panicking.
