For their second year cultural festival 1A decided to do a sale.
Not just any sale though, amateur self made Hero Merch and each member was expected to contribute a minimum of five different designs with multiple pieces of each.

The actual event goes much better than they’d anticipated.
“Welcome” Shinsou deadpans. “Would you like a rat?”
More people step up to his table but he can see they’re all warily watching Bakugou and Kirishima demonstrate their trick knives on each other dramatically. They aren’t even showing off the hero themed carvings they made in the handles.
“All the stabbings are affectionate,” he sighs. “would you like a rat?”
Iida is making scandalized noises in the background but Shinsou simply hands over an Eratserhead and accepts the payment.

“Why rats though???” Kaminari wails, pointedly looking away from where Shinsou is packing away his leftover Present Rats and Ratzus. (The All Rats and Best Rattists had sold out in minutes.)
“Isn’t it obvious?” Shinsou replies in his dryest tone. “So they can double as cat toys.”
“It’s for the meme.” Todoroki puts in randomly from where he’s cradling his newly purchased Rat Bastard.
Kaminari wonders what the fuck it’s even supposed to be considering it’s just a red headed rat peeking beady eyes out of a fuzzy trash can that looks like it’s on fire.
‘A custom order’ Shinsou had said.
