  • Summary

My HTML and CSS works are growing, and they're not all in the tutorial series (though honestly, a lot of my regular fics [not in this collection] have snippets of CSS in their notes, outlining and explaining quick little bits of computer magic used for an offhand effect [not being the focus of the work] in some chapter), but I figured that collecting the particularly CSS-heavy or *-related works (tutorials, demos, games, etc.) into one spot might be useful for readers and researchers, so... here they are, all in One Big Happy — ENJOY! 😁

Tutorials, QRLs (Quick Reference Lists), demos, [playable] games.

  • Summary

This is a collection of AO3 works and other resources for creating fan works. (See also the Fanwork Research & Reference Guides tag.)

Some fandoms have wonderful on-line communities (e.g. The Harry Potter Lexicon and Marvel wikis) devoted to creating canon references. Many more do not, but fans still have created deeply thought out essays, maps, tables, histories, and other world building. Hopefully, you can find them here.

AO3 allows custom formatting using limited HTML and CSS (workskins). This collection has a number of formatting "how-to's" in addition to the AO3 docs below.

Note: Works added as bookmarks do not add their tags or fandoms to the collection. Please add your own works

  • Worldbuilding Meta (Worldbuilding_Meta) by Charles_Rockafellor

    Hammer and anvil logo

    26 Sep 2025

    Summary

What underlies the recipe to Icewall? Which ingredients are picked fresh for the simmer, or stored away to age like a fine Madeira?

The articles specific to this collection are meta to the Icewall universe, but it's also worth noting here that the “Falling Down” collection strikes at the heart that sparked and drives Icewall's nature (I would add that collection to this one, but apparently that's not possible because the Worldbuilding Meta collection is itself already a sub-collection within the “Icewall” parent collection, and so cannot itself contain a sub-subcollection).
