Work Text:
Hitoshi blinked his eyes open as the sun filtered through the blinds. He groaned and moved to put his arm over his eyes, but it was trapped underneath a warm body. Looking to his left, he saw Denki’s head resting on his shoulder, latched to his torso like a koala. A sleepy smile pulled at his lips and he saw the dual-colored head of hair behind Kaminari move. Shouto’s eyes met his and a cool hand reached over Denki to caress his cheek.
“Morning,” Shouto whispered, smiling at him lovingly.
Hitoshi turned his head to press a kiss to Shouto’s cold palm. “Good morning, Shou.”
A sleepy huff came from Hitoshi’s right side, and he felt a face nuzzle deeper into his neck, curly hair tickling his face. Shouto pulled back his hand and moved it to Kaminari’s waist, stroking his hand up and down his side. Hitoshi turned to look at his green-haired boyfriend and used the arm wrapped around him to squeeze the boy closer. He placed a kiss to the top of Izuku’s head, smiling at both of his still sleeping partners.
Shouto had wrapped both arms around Denki’s waist, spooned up against the blond, brushing soft kisses along the back of his neck. Hitoshi sighed happily and snuggled closer to the other boys in bed with him, letting himself relax into their warmth.
Sometime later, Hitoshi awoke to a comforting weight laying on his chest and the bright sun blocked out by the curtains. He squeezed the body on top of him and got a content hum in response. He opened his eyes to see a pair of blue and grey ones staring back up at him. “Hello there, Sleepyhead,” Shouto murmured with a smile.
Hitoshi hummed in response, leaning forward for a kiss, his boyfriend meeting him halfway. Sleepy kisses with his boyfriends was his favorite thing to wake up to. He moved one of his hands from Shouto’s back to his butt, giving it a light squeeze.
Shouto moaned into his mouth, pressing Hitoshi further back into the pillows with his kiss. “Izu and Denks are making breakfast,” he said against Hitoshi’s lips. Shouto’s hands slowly moved up his arms until they reached his neck, and then he threaded his fingers into Hitoshi’s hair. They lay like that for a few moments, sharing lazy kisses and nuzzling each other. The two paused as they heard a clang and giggling come from the kitchen.
Hitoshi pulled back enough to look at the bedroom door, and Shouto kissed his way down his jaw to his neck. “Should we go help?” he asked, rubbing circles onto Shouto’s lower back.
He heard his boyfriend whine, continuing to pepper warm kisses down Hitoshi’s neck and along his collarbone. “Five more minutes,” he grumbled against the other’s skin and Hitoshi chuckled and pulled his face up to kiss him once again.
Izuku and Denki giggled as they danced together around the kitchen. Izuku held his boyfriend in his arms and spun him around, accidentally knocking an empty mixing bowl to the ground. Denki just smiled at him like he was holding the sun in his arms, and Izuku was overwhelmed by the amount of love in his eyes. He gently placed his boyfriend on the ground and kissed his cheek, savoring Denki’s bright, musical laugh. “I love you so much.”
Denki smiled at him, tucking a green curl behind his ear. “I love you, too, Zuzu. Should we drag Toshi and Shou out of bed, get them to help us make breakfast?”
Izuku shook his head, looking in the direction of the bedroom. “Let them rest. Shocchan has been having nightmares the past week and Hicchan hasn’t been sleeping well, either. They deserve the sleep, especially on their day off.”
Denki hugged him tightly, pressing kisses all over his face as Izuku giggled and playfully pushed him away. “You’re so sweet, Zuzu. The best boyfriend ever,” he said as he kissed Izuku’s freckled cheeks.
Izuku shook his head, reaching up to kiss Denki’s lips. “No, that’s you. And Shou and Hitoshi.”
They stood there, holding each other close and trading occasional kisses for a few moments before Izuku pulled back. “Alrighty, let’s get this breakfast ready.”
He started pulling ingredients out of the fridge and Denki lingered at his side, helping him lay out the ingredients on the counter. Izuku was the only one of the four boys who knew his way around the kitchen; Shouto had never learned to cook growing up, Hitoshi only knew how to make instant ramen, and Denki was notorious for burning everything he tried to cook. Izuku was the chef and whenever one of his boys wanted to help, he’d have them do the simpler work like chopping vegetables, which he instructed Denki to do now.
The kitchen filled with the sound of a home cooked meal being made and Izuku smiled as he got into the rhythm of making breakfast. Cooking had always been a comforting thing for him, reminding him of days spent in the kitchen with his mom, and he loved being able to provide for his boyfriends and show them how much he loved them.
He tossed the chopped vegetables into the pan along with some scrambled eggs and stirred them together as they cooked. Denki draped himself over Izuku’s back, wrapping his arms around his waist and pressing kisses into the nape of his neck, making Izuku giggle and lift his shoulders up.
“Denki, that tickles! Not while I’m cooking!” he said.
His boyfriend huffed and rested his chin on Izuku’s shoulder. “Fine. Should I go get the others now?”
“Sure, tell them breakfast is almost ready.”
Denki gave Izuku a parting kiss on the cheek, then walked back to the bedroom.
Shouto was laying halfway on top of Hitoshi, his left leg draped over him, and his left hand resting against his boyfriend’s stomach, underneath his shirt. Shouto had started dozing off again, content cuddled up to his boyfriend and feeling fingers gently card through his hair. He barely registered the click of the door opening, but he felt the vibrations in Hitoshi’s chest when he spoke.
“Hey, Denks.”
“Hey, Sleepyheads! You awake yet?” Denki asked, crawling on the bed next to his two partners. Shouto looked up to see Hitoshi and Denki kiss and smiled when Denki leaned over to kiss his cheek. “Morning, handsome,” the blond whispered in his ear, giving him a kiss on the lips when Shouto raised his head for one.
“Zuzu says breakfast is almost ready, so get your sleepy asses out of bed!” Denki said, grabbing onto Hitoshi's and Shouto’s wrists and tugging them off the bed. Hitoshi laughed and helped Shouto sit up and they both got off the bed, Shouto rubbing at his eyes with his free hand and leaning into his purple-haired boyfriend’s side as they walked out of the bedroom together.
Shouto raised his head as the smell of breakfast wafted over him. Izuku’s cooking was always so good, and he was happy to be spoiled by his boyfriend’s food. Sometimes he wished he could do as much for his boyfriends as they did for him. They all did so many things for him, cooking him food, comforting him after nightmares, giving him space when he needed it. He couldn’t ask for better men to be in love with.
The three of them rounded the corner to the kitchen and there Izuku stood, pouring the breakfast scramble he had made onto four separate plates. Hitoshi immediately migrated over to the coffee machine, pouring himself a cup and taking a sip, letting out a content sigh as he cupped his mug in both palms. Denki sidled up next to him, also pouring himself a cup and then adding a liberal amount of cream and sugar. Shouto smiled as he watched them drink their coffee, leaning into each other.
Izuku finished portioning out their food, and as soon as his hands were free, Shouto walked over and smothered the shorter boy in a hug. Sighing happily, he smooshed his face into curly green locks, breathing in the vanilla and coconut scent of his boyfriend’s favorite shampoo. Izuku giggled, wrapping his arms around Shouto and squeezing him lightly, lifting his feet several inches off the ground.
“Shocchan is extra cuddly this morning, huh?” He could hear the smile in Izuku’s words and hummed, holding him closer.
“Yeah,” Hitoshi said from across the kitchen, holding his coffee mug in one hand and Denki’s waist in the other. “I was gonna come help with breakfast, but Shou just wanted to cuddle up in bed.”
“I’m baby,” Shouto muttered into Izuku’s fluffy hair and he heard Denki burst into laughter.
Izuku just chuckled, slowly pulling away from Shouto’s embrace. “Well, babies need to eat, not just cuddle, okay?”
Shouto sighed dramatically, intertwining his fingers with his boyfriend’s. “Okay.”
The four of them moved their plates from the counter to the dining table. Denki decided to sit in Hitoshi’s lap, doing the work of feeding the both of them (and trading the occasional kiss). Izuku and Shouto sat on separate chairs, but they tangled their legs and Shouto leaned heavily into his boyfriend’s side as they ate.
He couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his day off smothering his boyfriends in affection, reminding them how much he loved them.
