When Tony is unable to join the Avengers for a day time outing they think its fine and go off to watch a movie
Tony's busy schedule was not a surprise after all. What was a surprise was that the tower had been attacked and they weren't there to help him.
In retrospect maybe they shouldn't have switched off all their Stark pads
OR
