textbook definition of wrenching one’s heart out and shredding it into a million pieces before guiltily piecing it all together at the last leg so that it may seem whole but the pain is still deeply irreversible.
this one made me feel feel feel so much and too much that i’m cursing it and praising it and loving it and somewhat hoping i never have to put myself through all that heartbreak all simultaneously. the writing is so otherworldly i sometimes have to read the same sentence thrice just to register their meaning over the awe that words could be shaped like this. the versions of deku and kacchan in this are ones i truly weep and hurt for because oh, could you believe all of this was the result of two children’s simple wishe sup on the stars?
but fear not, in the end, they do get their version of a happy ending.
