Summary
As choking and foul as Sukuna’s Cursed Energy was, suffocating the room until it leaked through the hinges and roof, Kenjaku stayed there in front of him with a dead set gaze. A man that barely reached Sukuna’s chest, but the invisible shield of Sango’s presence gave him the confidence to act up against the Disgraced One like it was child play. It infuriated Sukuna, the entire essence and idea of it.
“She shouldn’t have been real to you,” his fury was cold, whereas the wood they stood warmed up and the lamps burned brighter.
“Shouldn’t,” Kenjaku conceded yet added, “but has become real. And to my annoyance the barriers regarding her very existence and positive state of serenity also did, you being the worst of it. It is done, the three nights, set to be in the way which she deserves, all you can do is decide if you want to engage your beloved mother’s joy.”

When meeting Bucky’s tired but weightless expression, he felt the drum of his heartbeat hitting his own ribcage. Familiar, he never managed to escape bold blue eyes that boiled with humanity and compassion for it. Suguru just managed to switch the dazzling white snow strands for the earthy brown that nests underneath the snowflakes until spring returns.
