Summary
I begin to study him, trying to decipher what has changed. The deeper set crinkle above his nose and between his brows, as if he furrows his brow more often out there in Cali. The hair that is now long enough to brush his eyelashes, man he’s starting to look like Jonathan. And his cheeks, pale and freckled, but flushed with anger. I’m so taken with the changes that I almost forget we’re fighting.
