Summary
Kiyoomi has to screw his eyes shut to stop his eyeballs from rolling out. He takes a deep breath, followed by another one, before he leaps out of the bed, barely managing to get the hospital slippers on his feet as he flies towards the door.
His legs feel stronger. Stronger in a way that tells him his body is more used to physical activity more than it actually is.
And if Miya’s— if that’s even Miya— yells trailing behind him weren't enough to make him halt, the lean muscles on his arms are.
Abruptly, he stills.
This isn’t his life.
Kiyoomi, the overworked heir of the Sakusa enterprise, is sentenced to a life in a loveless marriage. When his car crashes, he wakes up to another life where he plays volleyball for a living and Miya Atsumu calls him darlin’.
