“I hear it’s certainly an experience,” Ryuunosuke muses in agreement with a hum. Atsushi huffs a laugh and gives his boyfriend a look.
“You don’t even like that kind of music, Ryuu.”
“Doesn’t mean I don’t listen to the gossip I hear about it,” he counters with a mock-haughty sneer. “You’ve yet to master the art of shutting the fuck up, after all.”

Summary
He isn’t quite surprised to find he doesn’t truly mean it. Even Rashoumon stays sedate, when in the past it would have reared up and readied itself for a fight at the first sign of pity being shown to them, at the implication of weakness. But he knows, from the working and fighting and bearing each other, that pity is the last thing Atsushi thinks of him, and he finds what objection he was reaching for dissolving into nothing but smoke slipping through his bloodied fingers.
He thinks he hasn’t meant most of his objections to Atsushi in a long time.
