Summary
“You aren’t supposed to be here,” he says, and he finds himself so close to tears that it shocks him, stripping away at the cold seeping through his body. “Nobody was. How did you even find me?”
James says, “Will.” He’s not unaware of the fact that James is slowly walking the both of them away from the ledge, retreating back towards the path. “Will,” James says again, like calling his name isn’t for Will but for himself.
In a house on the edge of the English countryside, Will waits for winter's oblivion to deal its hand. Always and of course, James follows.

Summary
“But it’s a mom and pop shop owned by a husband and wife who are barely getting by as is!” Kaveh argues. “They’re a small business who could use some help!”
“Well, maybe if it didn’t taste terrible, it wouldn’t be a small business,” Al-Haitham says.
“You’re going to be courteous,” Kaveh hisses, pointing one finger in Al-Haitham’s face, “or we’re breaking up.”
Kaveh and Al-Haitham run a food review blog together.

Summary
“The art of tarot can be difficult to process, I know,” Al-Haitham says, nodding. “You just have to accept it.”
“STOP SAYING THAT,” Kaveh says.
Al-Haitham picks a random card from his pile of cards and flips it over to reveal a Genius Invokation HP food card of tandoori roast chicken. “This is going to be your dinner.”
“WHY DO YOU KNOW MY DOORDASH ORDER,” Kaveh yells, typing furiously into his phone and brandishing the app in Al-Haitham’s face. “I PLACED THE ORDER RIGHT BEFORE I WALKED THROUGH YOUR DOOR.”
Al-Haitham is a tarot card reader. Kaveh is skeptical.

Summary
Kaveh stares at the neatly packed bento box laying before Al-Haitham, housing neatly sliced vegetables and glistening, fresh rice.
“Who made you that?” Kaveh asks, not bothering to hide the vengeance in his voice. “Your work husband?”
Al-Haitham lets the fork go slack in his hands and just stares at him. “Kaveh,” he says, in the sort of tone someone might say dude.
“Don’t dude me,” Kaveh says, aghast.
Kaveh is interested in discovering who Al-Haitham's elusive work husband is. Al-Haitham is only interested in Kaveh.

Summary
“You want me to stay,” he says. “You don’t forgive me, and you never will, but you want me to stay. Of your own free will, all this time, you’ve stayed, and you want me to stay, and you want me to want you. Tell me I’m wrong.”
