“Random. Unexpected. Unwelcome,” she summarized.
“Harsh.”
Pansy let out a small giggle, slapping her hand over her mouth and looking back at him with growing eyes.

“Why are you here?”
He shouldered past her, disregarding her objections and her weapon, carrying a platter and a pitcher. Over his shoulder she could see guards. “Isn’t it regarded as a blessing to visit the mad?”

Once upon a time there was a princess and a very young squire. They lived in a big cold dark house. While the darkness in the house was oppressive and scary, the scariest thing was the monster they lived with. The princess tried to protect the squire. She asked him to hide, to keep away from the monster.
The squire was nothing if not obedient. So he hid and while he hid he begged the magic for help. Helped arrived in the shape of a small little blue bee.
