Summary
"So Father cares enough for Mother to want her essence to outlive a human lifetime.” Towa remains silent for a while, but eventually she speaks again. “But why did it have to be you? Why did you have to be the one to have a child with Mother?”
“Oh, I suppose that is right,” Rin chimes in, a finger tapping against her chin. “I could have had children with someone else, and technically, my legacy would still extend through time.”
“So Father,” Setsuna continues on. “What did you base your decision on?”
—
A short oneshot in which Sesshomaru is forced to contend with the fact that maybe not all of his decisions are unbiased and based on reason alone.
