Summary
Harondus Einfasen is not a blind man. He is, rather, a single-minded one who has little care to indulge whims and wandering eyes. His work, his life, has been structure and order; that was how he had been raised and how he had learned to prefer it. An upbringing that left no space for anything but what duty demanded—a politically advantageous marriage, a seat in the Chamber of Lords-Advisory, an estate to manage, a failing institution to cull.
But it does not escape him that Azune Nayar is beautiful.

Summary
Yesterday, Young Sam was researching an article to write for the Times, after getting into a huge fight with his Dad. Today, he's trapped fifty years in the past, in an Ankh-Morpork much darker than the one he grew up in, with a civil war looming on the horizon. He is not having a good time - and things will only get worse when he meets the unexpectedly familiar Sergeant-at-Arms John Keel.
Twenty-year-old Young Sam gets into a fight with his father, Commander Vimes, about not joining the Watch, and then, due to a magical mishap, lands himself in the past, forced to borrow the identity of Ned Coates for the two weeks leading up to the Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May. The only versions of his Dad available to him are a bastard who doesn't recognize him, and a twerpy kid who definitely doesn't recognize him.

“And here I was, forgetting my manners! What’s your name, my lad?”
Moist’s brain said: make something up.
Moist’s eyes made the mistake of glancing at Granny Weatherwax.
Moist’s mouth said, almost in fear of what would happen if it didn’t: “Moist Von Lipwig, Mrs Ogg.”
“Well, we mothers all make mistakes once in a while…”---

Summary
The sort of curse incurred by breaches of the laws of hospitality are actually quite simple things to deal with, if the one cursed is willing to sincerely admit their fault and request forgiveness from those they have wronged.
Unfortunately in this case the one who has been cursed is Sir Julien Davinos, so Bolaire is going to have to get creative.
