Before Hakuri can tap his fingers on the counter again (Hinao would scold him for a while, saying it was distracting, but Hakuri begged to differ), the door chimes sound against each other, making that distinctive clinking sound whenever a customer walked in.
Hakuri gulps. "Hello, what can I get for you?" He says, even as he feels his throat run dry as he stares at the customer before him. The man before him had somewhat spiky hair, with red eyes that felt like it was staring right through at him. He was just the tiniest bit shorter compared to Hakuri—he noted that his attire was pretty much all black, save for the pop of red, white, and tricolored goldfish print on the front of his shirt as well as some silver from wearing a necklace.
Hakuri's only thought was this—
They were very, very handsome.
or, Hakuri is a barista and Chihiro is a streamer.
A streamer that Hakuri is a big, big fan of, apparently. He doesn't know that Samurai and Chihiro are the same people, though.

Summary
Hiroto survives his fate because Ariu thought to make him the walking disgrace of Ukizane's legacy. Ariu lives because he was tailing Hiroto in secret. Akemura's treatment slowly changes because Hiroto refuses to treat him as a monster.
In other words, Hiroto eats a centipede. Ariu plans to exact revenge against the Soga over the Mikaboshi's demise. Akemura gets Hiroto as his only visitor. The other five wielders poke at Hiroto over Akemura. Hiroto suffers (more) because he won't reveal Ariu survived. Everything changes.

Summary
The Blue Reverberation was infamously known for being one of the least, if not the very least, mentally sound Color fixer. He seemed akin to an undomesticated dog on a fraying leash only one gentle breeze away from snapping. While many other Color fixers such as the Indigo Elder and the Red Mist were well-known for their strength and feats, the Blue Reverberation was better known for his unpredictability and tendency to mishandle the power and influence he had. He, as with any other high-grade fixer, knew the City’s taboos well – however, with the Blue Reverberation, a pleasant meet-and-greet could turn into toeing the line between breaking a taboo or not at a single sporadic whim.
At least, that’s how Yan Vismok viewed the Blue Reverberation.
Which is what made Yan’s most recently received prescript absolutely terrifying.
“Within the next 36 hours, take the Blue Reverberation out to dinner.”
