Max thought he looked stupid and lost in the photo: brows furrowed, shirt had wrinkles at the sleeves, skin too pale, and jeans budged at the pockets like he carried all his life in them. He had asked Charles to take it down, but he didn’t. “C’mon, it looks so good,” Charles said, fingers zooming in the photo. Max could see the stray strand of hair that stuck out on his head like a tiny antenna.
The morning after he woke up and looked at the photo again. It had more likes than last night and some new comments. Most of them were from his friends, saying silly stuff. Except one that was from a Daniel Ricciardo.
