    PART 2 & 3 SPOILERS

    It all started during the liberation of Dagsion.

    Something in that abomination had deeply disturbed Eshmel. The Promised One's lance had faltered for but a second as that undead dragon's voice defiled her ears. And moments later her heart, the only part of herself that was linked to whoever she had been— whatever she had done— had sank upon witnessing her face, the Flame Lord Orchel's piercing yet gentle red gaze.

     

    An "Eshmel is a reincarnation of Solel and Orchel of Yu Phas" character analysis and all that entails, plus my own interpretation of Solel's relationship with his monster of a father, mother, siblings, wife, daughter, best boy grandson, and whatever it could mean that he can choose to take the form of a woman in his next life.
