Talia and little Minfilia left camp to fight a few Sin Eaters, and then went their separate ways at the girl’s insistence. Still in earshot, though. Without the others, it was a slow fight, as Talia’s white magic did little damage against the Sin Eater's glowing hide. In the end, it was like beating someone to death with a very blunt instrument. Talia found herself gripped by a distant, foggy hysteria, horrified to see her own hands using white magic to kill with such dogged determination.
