It had started out as a normal evening, a lovely dinner cooked by Gale, blood sausage for Astarion, and chicken pie for himself, followed by the consumption of a little too much Elverquisst – Astarion of course was fine, but Gale on the other hand became a little feisty, challenging Astarion to a game of lanceboard. So, the two of them grabbed their glasses and ran to the library like naughty teenagers.

Every so often Astarion gets an irritating itchy need to submit. To sink down into the warmth of letting his over taxed, hypervigilant, mind rest while someone else takes charge. But what kind of man would he be if he didn't require his love to put a little effort into coaxing him there?
