“Take this book, get on a boat, and sail as far away as you can—to the edge of the Earth. Bury it, where no one can find it!”
Those were some of the last words that Stanley Pines was ever going to hear from his brother, at least if he had anything to say about it. Sure, he had spent the last decade hoping to make it back into his twin’s good graces, but what did that matter if Stanford didn’t even want him in his life? If he saw him as some friggin' errand boy?
He'd go to the ends of the Earth alright, to get as far away from his twin as possible.
Once the anger subsides and Stan considers the state of his brother, his home, and the damn journal in his front seat...doubts arise. Maybe instead...he should go and knock some sense into his brother—
…the only question was, would he be too late?
Or: My take on what happened long before canon Ford stumbled into the dimension of "A Better World" and how that reality came to be through blood, sweat, tears, and secrets alike.

What started as a "what if" conversation has turned into an idea that I am so excited to share with you all. Thank you fiveever to my biggest supporter/beta reader/idea bouncer/pally, Ryan☆

Here is my contribution to the "Memories" zine! I made so many friends and memories (tehehe) along the way; I will forever be glad that I was a member of this project. I hope you enjoy this piece that is the result of that experience, as it is still one of my most favorite written works that I have ever created.

Original title, I know.
These are a collection of one shots I have written over the last few months. I first got back into writing ironically posting on TikTok; but I have improved upon these works since then (just in case you find any of these familiar.)
I hope to be adding to the list while working on my long form Fiddlestan work-in-progress so that I don't become stagnant when I need a break. Most importantly: you don't have to read them in order- they are all independent of each other :)

Dedicated to Ryan, without whom this would not exist.
On Stan’s first full moon in Gravity Falls he knew two things for certain: first, he was alone in the dark with something that had no business existing. Second, he was frightened.
