Caitlyn expected another boring AI patent case. She got Jinx instead: a brilliant, feral Zaunite inventor whose “technical drawings” are graffiti and whose pockets contain enough metal to set off every alarm in the building.
They’re supposed to make a lifesaving invention legally viable. They weren’t supposed to fall for each other.
Yet somehow, in the space between legal briefs, something messy and hopeful begins to grow, and things get… patently chaotic.

Summary
A very late Halloween party featuring Caitlyn dressed as a prisoner and Jinx as the officer who’s way too hot for public safety regulations—and also definitely jealous (even though she’ll never admit it).
